POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We had the opportunity this week to talk with the next generation of PTs at @mizzoudpt.

Owner Paige Flood and Onward partner Jeff Moore shared about different PT models and how Onward approaches physical therapy differently.

We love seeing future clinicians get excited about PT and all that it can be. We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of the conversation and to share a different perspective on the profession.

It's not easy being @trumanthetiger_mu.

Between racing the sidelines, navigating crowds and knocking out pushups after every touchdown, game day demands serious athleticism. That's why @mizzouhealthsci faculty are helping Truman train using sport science principles designed to build strength, endurance and resilience.

See how they keep Mizzou's favorite Tiger game-day ready.

Living with Parkinson's disease made it harder for Marty Kossak to stay active. Thanks to Neuro Bootcamp, a free program offered by Mizzou's Department of Physical Therapy, he found renewed motivation to exercise and work toward his health goals.

Watch Marty's story and learn how Neuro Bootcamp helps participants build lifelong wellness habits.

A warm welcome to all of the incoming students getting started this summer in College of Health Sciences programs! We asked some of our first-year Doctor of Physical Therapy students why they chose to study at Mizzou, and it was great to hear why our college is such a fantastic fit for so many budding health professionals.

Things we did…THAT 🤩🐯
Officially Dr. Madeline Hulshof PT, DPT

How lucky are we to have cared so deeply about becoming good at this profession that we lost sleep over getting it right?
How lucky are we to have spent countless nights studying because one day, someone’s recovery would depend on what we know?
How lucky are we to have found friendships in the middle of one of the hardest seasons of our lives?
And how lucky are we to be the University of Missouri Doctor of Physical Therapy Class of 2026 Graduates?!🥂

For years, my schedule was so hectic and unpredictable that I couldn’t commit to mentoring physical therapy students even though it was always something I wanted to do on a full-time basis.

Now I’m excited to finally say that’s about to change.

Very soon, I’ll be accepting physical therapy students, especially those interested in sports rehabilitation and working with athletes.
