Lord, we prayed and we begged you to do an unimaginable work at Awaken. Thank you, Father, for being a God who hears and answers prayers. You are so good! You built the altar for man, and boy was it full. The sin of man was placed upon it, struggles with lust, fear, anxiety, depression, suicide, idolatry, alcoholism, eating disorders, witchcraft, unforgiveness, sexual idolatry, doubt, and so many more were cast upon it in which you responded by sending your fire to set it ablaze and burn it up. An aroma of confession and repentance filled your nostrils and greatly pleased you. In that moment, chains broke, bondage was no more, freedom rang out. The image of young adults falling to their face in awe of Your glory, majesty, and splendor will be burned into my mind forever. Praise you, Jesus! Amen.

After six years, today was my last day at The Worship Initiative. 48 albums, thousands of videos, and now 100k+ people singing along to a worship devo every single day. It’s been a wild ride.

Not to mention a wedding, two babies, two moves, and now another little boy on the way—all while I got to show up to work here, every day, with the most incredible team that truly feels like family!

Exciting things ahead, but for now I’m just grateful for this place and the incredible team that made it so special.
