The Making of an Edo Bride

Wedding planning is not just a thing, it’s a skill, an investment, an intentional craft, a research project, it takes much more than passion to own it.

Planning a traditional marriage in Nigeria, a country so rich in culture and diversity, yet united in the area of marriage.

Every culture and tribe in Nigeria has a token of exchange during traditional marriage and the reasons are not far fetched, if something does not cost you something you would not value it, the value you place on something is the premium you pay to get it.🥰

The exchange token differs from one culture and tribe to another.. the details on that is story for another day🥰😁

Planning this wedding has brought a lot of exposures and experiences, from researches to consultations from the owners of culture and comparing notes from one depth of elders wisdom to another, that was how far we went because of our lovely couple @doc_gallery1 and @eng_franky who were particular about their cultural heritage and didn’t want to take anything for granted.

We are glad we were able to go above and beyond to celebrate the 2 lovers @caflover2025.
