The entire canvas was painted gray from the ashes of Los Angeles.
Brushstrokes from Jordan sprinkled redwood & gold on the west edge, Walther threw a bucket of emerald green at it and Mexico City drew the lines, shapes & figures.
AL AZARE played as we painted but the news bled the paint. The Chinatown heat dried it.
So I’m putting our unfinished piece up on the wall, and with my entire soul I say thank you to the artists who painted my year.

🌳K.WOOD$ IN NYC🌳

🥭We got the chance to work with BIG DRUID AKA KDOTWOODS over the weekend.
Bro came up from Baltimore and down from Boston to bless the city🗽

🥭We filmed him interacting with New York, took some film photos, hand drew the posters, did the lighting, sound and set design for his dope concert @chaandbar and simply enjoyed his presence.

🌻Thank you always to @midnyte_mktg for putting everything together, to @benchangnyc for working the sound waves, to artist @mjean6654 for making an actual tree with her bare hands, to @chaandbar for trusting us with their beautiful space, @spunbysun for spinning that fire and of course to @kdotwoods for his philosophy & artistry. It was truly a pleasure🌼

Martha Hernández, the mother of one of our producers, bringing down the house on her SIXTYSeconds debut.

🌷🌷🌷

Happy Mother’s Day to all!
Call your mother for longer than SIXTYSeconds.
