From classes and parties galore to work and getting my license. Life’s changes so much but the wonder of good friends-of unforgettable nights- is something that only grows in its elation as you age! To those who have stayed by my side despite time and distance ever expanding I thank you! If I consider you close it’s for a reason! You- blood or otherwise- are family and all your unique quirks and ways of seeing the world have bettered me in ways I never thought I could. For those who couldn’t stay by my side, who’ve seldom let me cross their mind this past year; I hope your doing wonderfully!!!!! Inshallah our paths will cross again 🙌. Heres to a Successful, Memorable, and Happy 24 🥂.

Around the Homestead: our first community post!

About a month ago, I asked everyone to send some pictures of you guys out in the wild. As you may have picked up on based on how long it took me to put this together, life has been busy. Grad school applications, school, work… it can all get a bit difficult to juggle, and I often forget to make time for my passions. I started this new year with big plans for Homestead, but here we are in late August, and I feel like I’m still moving in slow motion. However, in the midst of all my setbacks and inconsistency, you guys serve as a constant reminder of just how amazing of a community we are building. It’s inspiring to see everyone pushing the limits, breaking free from the melancholy of everyday life and directing their energy towards chasing the sun.

Thank you for your support and patience as we continue to figure things out. I’m grateful for each and every one of you. 🏡

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to every woman out there who uplifts and carries, shapes, loves, inspires, and nurtures everyone around them. You show strength even when theres nothing left, and you carry societies on your back. It is an inexplicable feeling to be a woman and share that certain feeling of togetherness and passion for one another. I hope today you feel proud of how far you’ve come and every time you fell, cried, and got back up even stronger.

I guess it’s better to be caught up in the moment. I forgot to post some of the best memories this year.
Snorkeled at the worlds largest underwater statue in the Bahamas with my bestie. That was pretty cool.
