POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I found a picture of myself in my featured photos today (thanks, Apple 😅) from before I started taking care of myself.

Normally, I probably would have thought, “Gahhh.” But this time, my first thought was, “Why did I wait so long?” Why did I keep making excuses? Why did I keep waiting for the “right” time?

The truth is, there was never going to be a perfect time. You don’t just wake up one morning at 5 AM and suddenly become someone who loves getting out of bed and working out. I honestly don’t even remember the exact moment I took the jump. I just know that, little by little, I did.

And I had people around me who knew me better than I knew myself. Thank Jesus!

@alisongoodnight woke up with me for months, (bc she knows I love time with her) helping me create a habit I don’t know if I could have created on my own. @isabellagrace still texts me every morning at 4:20am and I know I’d struggle more without that encouragement.

They didn’t do the work for me. They just believed in me long enough (and still do) for me to start believing in myself.

And now Im starting to notice the little things.

My pants are looser. My permanent jewelry is falling off. Scrubbing my shower is easier. Gardening is easier.

But then you realize it’s not just the everyday things. You start doing things you didn’t realize you were missing.

I can throw a child on my shoulders and walk them wherever they want to go. I can run with the kids at youth. I can keep up, play, and actually enjoy it. When before I’d have to tap out, at like 20 years old.

You start seeing your eyes more. Your smile gets a little bigger. And you get to shop for more clothes!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼

It isn’t just about how I look anymore, it was for a long time. It’s about how I feel living my life and what I’m able to do in it.

Not every day is easy, but it’s so much easier when you have people who know you and encourage you when you’re struggling, I’m thankful I listened to my people. Are you?

So if you’ve been waiting to take care of yourself, maybe this is your reminder that there will never be a perfect time. Let this remind you that it’s not gonna be easy. Just start! You need you.

I wish there were words that could describe what the Lord has done this past week but it’s nothing short of a miracle!

I’ve always loved serving and leading others to glorify the Lord but this past week has been extra special. Getting to have the title Intern Addi has been a blessing and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. All of the behind the scenes, blood, sweat, and tears is what I love about camp and I had the most amazing time being a small piece of it!

Thank you Jesus for all you do and all you continue to do I love you falls creek and I love you so much NBC!!!

TYJ for Falls Creek 2026. God showed me this week on how much of a leader I can be and how I can make disciples by being a leader. I made so many friends and even found a family! God is moving everywhere!

Stars, Stripes & Strength. 🇺🇸
Grateful for the freedom to move,
People who make mornings like this worth showing up, (because who just wants to do the SAC?)
And those who sacrificed so we get to celebrate today. Happy Fourth! ❤️🤍💙

Now to eat hotdogs, right burnadette???

Three workouts. Three prayers before each timer began, and praise God.

For so long, I didn’t always feel worthy on the Burn floor.

I believed I was the slowest.
The biggest.
The one who didn’t quite belong.

For a while, I masked it with laughter—but deep down, I often felt like I was standing in my own way.

But during Level Up Games, something changed.

In my second workout, I was the last one still going in my heat.

As everyone else finished, they came around me cheering, yelling, pushing me to keep going. Their support was powerful—but it became overwhelming. The noise, the pressure, the chaos felt like too much.

Then I looked up… and locked eyes with Alicia.

She came in close—calm, gentle, steady—and guided me through my final reps step by step.

And suddenly, everything shifted.

The chaos didn’t disappear…
but it became silent.

And I felt the Lord say:
“When you keep your eyes locked on Me, the chaos around you loses its power.”

I crossed that finish line in tears.

Because this wasn’t just about fitness.

My life outside of Burn had been chaotic too. I’m healing, growing, and learning how to move forward through pain, distractions, and noise.

And somehow, God met me there—on that gym floor.

Since then, He has continued to guide me far beyond Burn.

He has placed godly friendships in my life.
Strengthened healthy boundaries.
Brought healing, clarity, and peace.

Burn transformed me physically—but God transformed me spiritually, mentally, and emotionally.

He’s teaching me that when I stop letting fear and chaos lead, and instead fix my eyes on Him…

I don’t just survive—
I live.

That competition became more than a workout.

It became a turning point.

Because when I keep my eyes on Him, He will always guide my steps. 👑

Have you ever done something you thought you never could or would do? That was me this weekend.

Back in January, @mk.wright.xo asked me to be her partner in the level up games. I ONLY did it because she asked, and frankly was dreading it. I didn’t practice, I didn’t think too hard about it, because if I did, my competitive nature would take over and I’d be so mad when I didn’t do well.

When the day came, I was so nervous and truly had no idea what to expect. And then it started, and although I was dying, I’ve never felt more empowered doing something so difficult. Never in a million years did I think the Level Up Games could or would be something I’d do, but I did it. And I actually kind of killed it coming in 11th in my division.

84 of us stepped onto that floor, cheered each other on, and walked away better than we came. I’m so grateful for Burn, the trainers, & the community for pushing me physically & personally day after day. 💙

I didn’t feel ready, but I stepped out anyway, and the Lord met me there. This trip reminded me that boldness doesn’t come from me, but from Him. So grateful for all He taught me & the relationships He fostered. #herewegooo

This past week I had the absolute honor and blessing of attending @passion268 with 45,000 young adults! (Still on a crazy worship high!)

If you ever get the chance to go to Passion, don’t even hesitate to say yes!
