Sweeten the Spark: It Starts With A Scent! 🍯✨ A chance encounter turns magical when a man, enchanted by a woman’s perfume, chases a fleeting fantasy into a real-life romance. ••• Thrilled to share our brand film for @Gisou’s Honey Infused Hair Perfume—one part of the many touchpoints in our campaign we spent 5 weeks concepting, planning, designing, and executing for ADBR 372: Art Direcrion for Brand Films & Social Content! This project was a dream come true. As the creative director, film director, and project manager, I had the best time bringing this story to life with my incredible team. “Read all Over“ transcends aesthetics, aiming to spark conversations and prompt reflection on media influence, women’s experiences, and the necessity of prioritizing substantive issues in public discourse. The project is an artistic call to action, inviting individuals to contribute to a cultural shift towards empowerment and lasting change. ••• “Read All Over” is a visual narrative capturing the challenges faced by women amidst a media landscape fixated on surface-level concerns. The blue-hued model symbolizes initial societal detachment, progressively engulfed by a fiery aura representing urgent global threats obscured by sensationalism. Utilizing stop-motion, effects, and filters, the project mirrors the invasive nature of media coverage, while the model wrapped in gauze serves as a powerful metaphor for the scrutinizing harm faced by women in the media and how society welcomes criticism of females, instead of focusing on the “world burning” due to global issues. This dual representation addresses external wounds and the normalized pressures of plastic surgery.
