Some pics from @felipecollazo
First annual rock festival.
I had a fun time. Decided to bring the camera with me to test things out and capture the moment.
All the bands that performed can reach out to me for more of the pictures. I just haven't had the chance to send the link over.

Grab a cooler of your favorite beverages, a lawn chair and come hang with us at @maldenporchfest . We have curated a great line up for your ear holes. Great music, great people, and the kind of neighborhood energy you can’t really recreate anywhere else. No giant venue, no ticket fees,no bad sightlines, just live music echoing through the streets and everyone vibing out. Hope to see y'all there!

Sending a big, heartfelt THANK YOU to each of the Artists, Creators, and local businesses who participated in Essex Art Center’s Spring Artisan Market. Your talent and creativity brought the event to life! A special thank you to everyone who came out to support—your enthusiasm and appreciation truly make a difference. We are also grateful to our performing artists: Monkey Knife Fight (@mkfmusic) and Dom the Composer (@domthecomposer), who got us moving and kept the good vibes going strong.

And thank you to our event partner, Rapscallions Brick Oven Pizza & Brewery (@visitraps). Having the event span two floors was so cool. 56 Island Street is a true Creative Hub. Together, we are fostering a thriving artistic community, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

See you next time,

The Essex Art Center Team

Shop small, support local, and spend the day surrounded by creativity 💫

Saturday brings live music from Monkey Knife Fight (@mkfmusic) downstairs at Rapscallion (@visitraps).

Sunday keeps the energy going with Dom the Composer in the Essex Art Center (@essexartcenter) gallery 🎶 (@domthecomposer).

Come hang, explore, and find something special.

A “mini utopia” is the expression @areyouarabblerouser host @felipecollazo used to describe this night. And other nights and events he has curated or experienced.

We’re all looking for a place we feel safe, understood and appreciated.

Community is a special thing and the Merrimack Valley is a special place. The time I’ve spent in these areas with these artist has helped shape my idea of thriving community.

Huge thanks to everyone for making this night so special! Thankful to have been there to capture the experience! 📸

Shout out to @fezz.the.hydrophile for capturing the impeccable vibes from last week's show. I was telling a friend that there is this amazing feeling when a show hits just like you want and everyone is vibing with all the music and each other. We are creating temporary utopia's in these spaces and I think the feeling that I feel is the hope in humanity and the power of the arts to connect us and during these times that feeling is needed more than ever.
