100 Women Who Care Northville is back at it again.

And listen. That word. Again. That’s the whole thing right there.

Anyone can show up once. These women show up every. single. time.

No fanfare. No performance. Hair nets and all.

This week, we packed food for Forgotten Harvest. And y’all. It hit close to home. There was a time growing up when my family could have used this food.

I’ll leave it at that.

But here’s what I’m not gonna leave unsaid.

You have something someone needs right now. I promise you that.

Look to your left. Look to your right.

Time. A kind word. A resource. An introduction. Maybe money. Maybe just showing up. It counts. All of it counts.

On the drive home, I kept thinking about their faces. And just. Yeah.

They say you’re a reflection of who you spend time with.

Lucky me. I’m feeling pretty amazing

Forgotten Harvest is Michigan’s largest food rescue organization. More than half a million people in metro Detroit are facing hunger.

Please support!!!

Spent the day volunteering with some of my favorite humans at @humbledesigndetroit and I just have to say…

If you don’t know Humble Design, go follow them. Right now.

And to our crew today — best in class, honestly. These are not just women who cheer you on from the sidelines. These are women who link arms and get in it with you. Women who make you want to show up better just by watching them show up.

I say it all the time and I mean it every time — who you surround yourself with is everything. EVERYTHING.

These women are proof of that.
