“It’s about coming together, bringing people together.”

A trip out east was good for the heart and soul. Spending time with friends, listening and singing along to music we love from @charlesesten brought some joy that was much needed after a tough couple weeks. Kicked the trip off in a vibrant New York City. Left the next morning with a short drive to the charming city of Newtown, Connecticut. Drove to Woonsocket, Rhode Island for one sweet summer Saturday night concert. No show was the same as a different setlist was made up every night. The songs ranged from some favorites of the Every Single Friday catalog to original unreleased ones to a handful of covers and the nostalgic Nashville gems. The emotions from a tough two weeks were felt in the rooms. Hayden Panettiere and Dolly Parton were given the recognition and love they deserved along with heartfelt songs dedicated in their honor. Music matters. Music will always have a healing power.

Grateful for these experiences and memories made with friends as I’ll cherish them forever. Parting ways seems to get tougher every time with how fast time goes in our lives the older we get. The heart can’t say goodbye.

Thank you @charlesesten & @pattyhpuskar for inviting us into your lives again to provide fun, entertainment, joy, kindness and love. Much appreciated. Life is about making memories with those you love and care about. It’s often the little gestures made that make a positive impact, staying with you for a long time.

Celebrated another beautiful Light the Night in Nashville for @bloodcancerunited @bcutd_tennessee raising awareness, funds and spirits. A milestone 10th year participating and I’m grateful to be doing so alongside Team Addie. I believe continuing the mission fighting blood cancer is where I’m meant to be. The heart of Team Addie starts with @charlesesten @pattyhpuskar So much love, kindness and gratitude. The friendships I’ve made are precious gifts I truly treasure. This is why I keep coming back as a proud member of Team Addie. A VERY heartfelt thank you for ALL who have positively impacted my life and ALL who make this event possible. Lots of love for ALL who help light up that pretty night sky.

Always an emotional evening. Joy, seeing people gather for a meaningful cause. Heartache, seeing yellow lanterns in remembrance of loved ones. Compassion and hope, seeing survivors and those courageously battling holding white lanterns high. Appreciation for red lanterns seeing a community of support.

The celebration continued after the walk at @3rdandlindsley with the 12th Light the Late Night Concert hosted by Charles Esten and his wife Patty. Musical friends included @avapaigemusic @don.schlitz @pamtillis who graced the stage. Auction items and a raffle helped raise more money thanks to more generous people. Over $100,000 for Team Addie had been raised by the end of the night. The next morning was Deacon Claybourne’s Tour of Nashville. Another $15,000 was raised for Team Addie! A memorable experience for Nashville fans with kind hearts that will be cherished forever.

Team Addie has a VERY special place in my heart. I’m blessed to know I’m surrounded by good people making a positive difference in the lives of strangers and in the lives of our own loved ones. Cancer has affected people I love and care about so if I can help uplift others I’m going to strive to do so knowing I’m not alone providing the hope necessary. There’s still an uphill battle to eliminate blood cancer but together it’s possible, especially when you experience a night with hope, healing, inspiration, care, love, kindness, compassion and gratitude. We’re gonna win this fight! 💛🤍❤️✨

There was truly nowhere else I’d rather have spent my 30th. My Mom, Jayne moved me in ways I’ll never forget. Thank you, @therealmariskahargitay, for sharing the most sacred part of your story and reminding us that living our truth, no matter how painful, is the bravest thing we can do. Starting this next decade with that same kind of courage. 💖
