Fantastic second night. Felt like I was going to drop by the end of the performance..getting back on stage after undergoing extreme head trauma is significantly different to before. But getting back on stage was a no-brainer 🧠 and I love it. Just got to pace myself. After the two brain surgeries in 2017, my friend Dr Dee Gaines @thedr.deeshow gave me an article called “25 Things To Expect After Brain Surgery”. It was incredibly helpful, and the main thing I remember is a paragraph titled “your life is now split into two parts; before brain surgery and after brain surgery”.

Whilst it now takes a lot of energy management to stay safe and not lapse into clinical fatigue, I’m still incredibly grateful for the whole thing.

Now for a restful Shabbat, and gearing up to next Tuesday’s performance (not to mention working on the postcards, posters, logistics, tech specs, travel, accommodation and more for Tunbridge Wells, Watford, Manchester & Edinburgh 🤦🏻‍♂️🤯😬🤣).

But we never know how long life is, I nearly died, so I’m determined to squeeze every drop out of this lifetime!

Shabbat shalom ❤️. (And book your flipping tickets if you haven’t already 😊).
