The human body is my language. I specially like when painting, to explore portraits, movement, memory and emotions that remain after the gestures while doing art has disappeared…

I hope my work can inspire you to remember that every new day is a chance to see things differently, reshape your future, and take one small step toward the life you want to create.

My work holds decades of art forms -a coherent arc: from the disciplined body of ballet, through the constructed beauty of couture, toward a painting practice where the human figure becomes raw psychological terrain. From observing how people inhabit bodies from my life as dancer then couture designer.
—My paintings are not simply portraits, figures in motion. they are meditations on transformation itself: the body as theater, the body as memory, the body as unresolved emotion.

Working always from life. i explore the tension between the elusiveness of the world and our attempts to hold on to it. Seeing the language of paint – colour, tone, runniness, translucency, opacity,..becoming THE subject in tandem with the model. Say HELLO to ALFRED HerE.!,!

The paintings and bronze sculptures of Miguel Ybáñez reflect an ongoing exploration of the relationship between form, space and emotion. In his oil paintings, the Spanish artist creates layered abstract compositions in which bold fields of colour, texture and light evoke a compelling sense of depth and spatiality. His bronze sculptures extend this visual language into three dimensions, bringing together movement, balance and materiality in a body of work distinguished by quiet elegance and timeless refinement. His work is presented by ML Gallery, which specialises in international contemporary abstract art. From its gallery in Oostkerke, ML Gallery presents a carefully curated selection of artists with a particular focus on materiality, spatial perception and enduring aesthetic quality.
