Throwing it back to where it all began! 🎬✨
This was our very first music video for our debut single “Angel” 👼🏽—written by Cheri’s father “RD”, arranged by the late, great Alphonso “Doc” Walker 🎹, and managed by Sean Singleton. Shoutout to Sean’s cousin, Jarrod Bunch (who was playing for the New York Giants at the time), and our record label, Showcase Records, for pushing the vision! And let’s not forget our bodyguard A-Dubb, seen in our music video walking us in to our audtions and who made sure nobody stepped out of line or messed with us! 🛡️💯
Back then, this song was spinning on 93.1 FM in Cleveland, and the video aired on BET’s video countdown shows! Friends used to call us non-stop saying, “Hey! I just heard your song on the radio!” or “I saw your video on BET!” 📺📻💥
Since it’s Independent Artist Month, @independentartistmonth it’s important to remember that your foundation matters in everything you do. People ask me all the time, “Why do you still post this old stuff?” It’s simple: you can’t move forward in life without a strong foundation. These are the archives people need to see!
From winning the “Music Prodigy Award” at The Legend Awards to taking home “Best Singing Group in ‘94” at The Greatest R&B Legends Music Awards Show—we were just 10 to 14 years old, sounding like grown women and paving the way! 👑🎶
We want to show the youth that you can achieve greatness no matter your age.

Throwback to a legendary moment in Cleveland music history! 📺✨
Long before 106 & Park, the legendary Madelyne Woods was holding it down hosting Video LP and #2Spoyled had the honor of making our National Television Debut right on that stage! 🎤💫
Rest in Peace to the incredible Alphonso Walker on the keys 🎹 his talent and energy helped lift us up as we stepped into the national spotlight. We were just young girls coming straight out of Cleveland with huge dreams, determined to show the world what the 216 had to offer. Paving that path was everything, dubbed by many as the “#BabyEnVogue” era! 👑🎶
Now, right in the middle of Independent Artist Month, looking back at where we started reminds us why we do what we do today. Our entire mission now is to uplift, empower, and push the next generation of independent artists to reach even higher and be even better than we were. Building the ecosystem starts with honoring the foundation! ✊🏾🔥

Throwback to one of the biggest nights in Cleveland hip-hop history! 🏀🔥
Back on Friday, July 3rd, #2Spoyled had the honor of opening up The Super Summer Rap Spectacular right on the legendary stage at the Richfield Coliseum! 🏟️✨
Sharing the spotlight with absolute icons like Doug E. Fresh, Geto Boys, Scarface, Chubb Rock, X-Clan, AMG, Real Roxanne, Men At Large, Too Much Trouble, and Chris Thomas (The Mayor of Rap City) the energy inside the Coliseum that night was electric from wall to wall. 🎤💥
Taking the stage in front of thousands of city fans and setting the vibe for a lineup stacked with rap royalty was a milestone moment for us and a classic piece of Cleveland hip-hop history.
💬 Who remembers being at The Coliseum for this legendary show?! Drop a comment below with your favorite memory from that night! 👇
