Year three in the books. This one felt different. Maybe it’s because of the people, maybe it’s because of the struggles we pushed through together, maybe it’s because we secured high percussion, or maybe it’s because this is the first time I don’t know where the future will take me. The truth is, it’s all of those things. I would give anything to re-live each and every moment I spent with this family. Never in my experience have I been part of a group that worked this hard, dealt with this much, and cared this deeply about each and every one of us. We were tested time and time again. Members were injured, sick, the weather sabotaged our rehearsals, lot, show. In times where it’s easiest to crumble, we rebuilt stronger than before. We are forged under pressure. These moments have proved to be most important and most memorable. I will never forget summoning torrential rain in military park before prelims. I am so incredibly proud of every caballero that marched this show. I would like to thank the staff for igniting the fire that powered us all through this season. I’m grateful to be able to learn so much about life through an activity that I hold so close to my heart. Heading home from Indianapolis fulfilled. This season, we answered every test with consistency and clear focus. We rose to the occasion, and we will continue to time and time again. Thank you to our staff who put countless hours into this organization and give their hearts to make us the performers we are. We wouldn’t be here without you. Until next time. -HCB

This season went by way too fast and i’m so happy i was convinced into doing this. it was such an incredible experience that i can’t begin to describe. i’ve met so many incredible people and had the season of a lifetime. i’m so thankful for everyone and I can’t wait to hopefully go out again next year and continue my marching experience Thank you UP2 ❤️🖤❤️🖤

While this season didn’t end the way we all hoped for, we couldn’t have hoped for better people to enjoy it with. To anyone who supported, donated, or even just came to a performance we here at UP2 Bass want to say thank you! Your support and passion for this activity keep us going, and we promise we’re not stopping anytime soon. To our staff, thank you for believing in us all and giving us the tools, instruction, and belief to accomplish all we have, you all are truly the best in the business and we are incredibly lucky to call you our staff! While this iteration of UP2 Bass says goodbye, rest assured that UP2, and UP2 bass will be back stronger and better than ever.
