Another fantastic family camping trip to the coast this past week. Lotts and Roses. My brother Wayne and his wife Mandi joined us this year. We had a great time. First time we have ever done shirts for it.
Lots of laughing swimming and especially good food. The kind of memories that last forever.
Even went to a pirate festival in Brookings

Fantastic day in Tahoe with family. Tamera and Nick put us up at the lodge along with my brother Wayne and his wife Mandy. Jess and Haley joined us too. At first light I went down to the lake to swim. Parked my truck along the road. Grabbed my bag and hopped on my bike. Looked next to me there was a bear!! Crazy. Swam a mile and biked 20. We all hung out at the beach playing around with the kayaks and paddle boards. Dinner then a sunset on the east side. Never a slow moment for sure!

Finally...Elizabeth has posted an update to her blog. The link is on Facebook and in my bio. Elizabeth Lotts11.wixsite.com
She consolidated a few days and is currently in Wyoming. She was in Colorado for a week. I think she liked it there. She is pretty funny and you have to "get" her humor to understand it. We definitely miss her here!!

Today I am grateful for my brother Wayne and his family. Growing up he was my best friend. We had many many adventures together..some good and some not so good. 30 mile bike rides to go fishing, towing each other on skateboards down the street, walking barefoot in hot parking lots to see who could stand it the longest and even exploring the storm drains under the streets. He is the guy you call when you need to be bailed out of jail…I might have done that once myself …
You couldn’t ask for a better guy to get in trouble with. Not that we ever got caught of course :)
He is can do and build anything and there is nothing he can’t fix. Doesn’t know how to say “I can’t” He and his wife are great examples to his family of how to do things right and his children are not just family to us but friends. We wish they lived closer so we could do more together. I am truly grateful for him. #givethanks
