Did you know that in order to keep your herbs healthy and abundant, you need to regularly prune them? 🌱
•
The good news is, it is very easy to do! Simply locate a node (a point on the stem where leaves come from) and cut above this mark. This is a better practice than just picking the leaves as it encourages the plant to grow bushier. It is also a good idea after pruning your herb to give them a good feed with GROW (made by Bio-Organics) or your preferred plant food.
•
So here is your friendly reminder (and permission) to use those herbs in your next meal!
•
Psst! Can you spy our little friend? 🐝

How beautiful are these dahlias?! 😍
•
Grown right here on our farm, picked by our flower hand Erica and are edible!

Happy Earth Day!
•
To celebrate we are working with Caboolture Sports Club on a gardening adventure. Head down today after 5pm and plant out one of our Basilea seedlings into their new planting box. Watch as they grow over the year and enjoy the beauty of our world!
•
Can’t make it down to the club? Here are some other ideas on how you can celebrate
1. Plant a herb or tree of your own.
2. Ride your bike instead of using your car.
3. Make a promise to use recyclable shopping bags (and actually remember to take them into the shops with you 😉).
4. Buy a refillable water bottle or at least make sure you recycle the throw away ones.
5. Buy produce from your local fruit and veg shop.
6. Unsubscribe from those physical catalogs that you don’t read.
7. Spend time outside and enjoy today!
