I would like to congratulate Aidan Kolbe! He will be heading to Germany to continue his dream, pursuing his soccer career!

To My Athlete, My Friend, and Someone I’m Extremely Proud Of,

There are moments in coaching that go far beyond training. Moments when you realize that the athlete standing in front of you has become so much more than an athlete—you’ve become someone I genuinely care about, respect, and believe in.

I want you to know how incredibly proud I am of you.

I’ve watched you work, struggle, overcome adversity, grow, and continue to show up when things weren’t always easy. I’ve seen the determination in you—the moments when you could have taken the easier road but chose to keep pushing forward. As your coach, I’m proud of the athlete you’ve become.

But as someone who has grown very close to you, I’m even more proud of the person you are becoming.

Athletic training will bring challenges, achievements, setbacks, growth, and countless memories. But the lessons you’ve learned through your training—discipline, accountability, resilience, humility, confidence, and the ability to support the people beside you—will stay with you throughout your life.

Never underestimate how special that is.

You have left an impression on me that goes far beyond the training facility. Coaching you has been one of those experiences that reminds me why I chose to coach in the first place. It isn’t just about developing athletes. It’s about watching young people discover who they are and realizing that, sometimes, they become a part of your life along the way.

I hope you always remember this:

I believe in you.

Not just as an athlete, but as a person.

Keep chasing your goals. Keep working when nobody is watching. Keep your heart in the right place. And when life gets difficult—as it inevitably will—remember the strength you’ve already shown.
