And The New 🆕🖤💛

Mixed results yesterday had 3 juniors on during the day then my wee brother on the main event of the evening!

2 wins 2 loses but a great day overall!

The juniors were outstanding all 3 of them in close evenly matched fights that could have went either way! But with juniors I always say the same it’s about the experience and lessons! You’ll hopefully have 10’s of junior fights and get all the different experiences and emotions out the way before turning adults! And a few of our kids learned some valuable lessons yesterday! Proud coach!

Then my wee brother! In so unbelievable proud of him! The new WKA PRO-Am Scottish Champion! He had another outstanding performance and just continues to grow and shine in the ring! He never had an easy fight and these last few fights he’s really shown what he’s capable off and can’t wait to finish the year with another win 🙏

Big thankyou to Cha and the guys at @a1gym2021 for such an amazing and well ran junior and adult show! Well done to everyone you’re team who helped make the show run so smoothly! Well done bro

Super proud of all the @mmagfightteam fighters and honoured to be a part of such an amazing team!

@hungry.side SuperShow‼️‼️

This did not disappoint… Mescho done it again! The biggest and best fight show in Scotland! Athletes from all over the world brought in to showcase some of the best Muay Thai on the planet! The hours and stress that goes into a show like this is incomprehensible! Mescho is my inspiration/idol in life and goes above and beyond for everyone at these shows for nothing in return! These shows are a dream for Scottish fighters!

I could go on about how amazing mescho for putting the effort and these kinds of shows on for Scottish Muay Thai!

@mmagfightteam went undefeated for the first time ever on a home show I think! Kicked off by young Camzo in a big rematch which he lost the other week after some time away from fighting! Was good to see him back enjoying himself and coming away with the draw!

Next up was my wee brother ❤️ the talent and ability he has is out of this world he’s just never been able to show it until now! Absolute masterclass from start to finish dropping his opponent with calf kicks and keeping the variation in his shots! Super happy and proud of him!

Then we had furious Fallon! This guy is his own worst enemy! He over thinks everything about the fight/opponent show! This time he took the fight on short notice(he’s always ready) and didn’t have too much time to think about it! We had one job go out be violent and aggressive! His opponent was far to technical to out score and play the Thai game! He went out there like a man possessed and walked his opponent down and got the finish! (Was really good to see Reece back at the venue cornering his father after a quick check and the hospital 🙏)

Then we had young Blair…. The Future if you didn’t know who Blair was before Saturday you do now! Scottish number 1 uk number 6 and only handful of fights into his career he’s one of the most dedicated and committed fighters in the sport and he’s only been doing it for a year and a half he’s a G! Got the whole world at his feet!

Lastly was MMAG most decorated fighter and Uk number 1 Rhona! Same as usual she goes out dominates in the clinch and gets that points win!

Honestly I can’t put into words how proud I am!

Don’t know where to start with this one. Yesterday feels like a fever dream at the ISKA open. 8 kids from our wee gym and 3 from @mmag_denny. Wee Sam was amazing and he’s like a sponge. Takes everything in and listens so well. And always with a smile. Left everything in the ring and took a well a deserved title after 2 hard fights. David’s fight I didn’t see because I was in another corner, but was told he did really well. Robbie and wee Andrew took some heavy knocks and hopefully will bounce back. Tyler had another tough fight against a more experienced opponent (what’s new) and took a points loss. Gutted for Mathew whose opponent pulled out as he’s been putting in the hard work for months now. Hopefully he can get matched soon. Performance of the day was from my wee best pal Cameron (Camzo) McDonald who’d been out the ring for over 2 years against a really good opponent. Lost on points, but if it went the other way I don’t think there would have been many complaints. Lastly big shout to all the coaches and my brother from another mother @liammcmt for everything he does for our kids as well as his own. His kids were ridiculously good as well. On to the next one. 🫡🇹🇭🙏🏻👊🏼🥊
