super special weekend!

Tonight we’re saying goodbye to @grid.avi , the collective I started with a group of friends over 8 years ago, which gave me my first little steps into nightlife and some of my most precious memories, as well as bringing some of the most important people into my life along the way.

Big love to everyone who was ever involved, and most especially @louvanbeselaere, who was there alongside me for the full ride. Giving it a good send-off together tonight. Grid 4ever ❤️

On top of that, Sunday morning I’m making my Garage debut at Horst Club! Ever since they opened this dark little sanctuary, I’ve been dreaming of playing a long set there.

What better moment to do it than during Black Gravity Dance, at dub techno o'clock from 7–10 in the morning 🫡

Hoping to see lots of friendly faces there :))

Introducing @mmankiyan ➺ a devoted digger and fearless manipulator of style, moving fluidly between wave, electro, dub, hip hop and techno.

Guided by groove rather than genre, her selections slip between scenes and sounds, always searching for the sonic truth at the heart of the dance ritual.

Summer is coming to an end, but we still have one last edition to celebrate together!

ROOM SIGNAL — KYNANT AT OPEN GROUND
@openground.club · Wuppertal

Samstag, 26.09. · 22:00—06:00
Open Ground · Wuppertal
20 € · vor 23:00 Uhr 15 €

We’re happy to announce that dublab DE returns to Open Ground for the second time and we’re giving away 2x2 guest list spots to join our community night.

26.09.2026
22:00–06:00
Open Ground Wuppertal
Annex Floor
20 €

After broadcasting for 11 years from Cologne, dublab.de visits the Annex again for a night of music representing the diversity in radio programming.
The idea for this night was to build tension by bringing this diversity to the Annex floor, starting off with musically easing into the night, getting into a more experimental dance floor approach and closing with a more forward program in the end. The sound reaches from disco-, funk- and soul-oriented sounds, through house and also more dub-oriented and experimental music to breaks and bass music.
This night also introduces a part of our newly grown team with the members Prima Gentle Phonetics, Ghiro and C U SOON playing b2b sets for the beginning and closing of the night. In addition, we are happy that Mankiyan from Brussels joins us to complete the lineup and push its boundaries further. Mankiyan also embodies the radio’s variety through a very creative and varied approach to dance music.

Want to join us?
We’re giving away 2×2 spots on the guest list for the night! All you have to do:
1. Comment your current favorite track
2. Follow @dublab.de on Instagram
On September 17, we’ll choose the winners and notify them directly via Instagram. Make sure to check your DMs!

We’re very much looking forward to being back at Annex. See you there!
