Sourdough Sonora wheat noodles drenched in a mornay that took a decade to make it into the bowl: ‘Prairie Breeze’ from @miltoncreamery (one of our go to’s) AND Hook’s 5-year cheddar AAAAND a very special, very old Mimolette Vieille from Rodolphe Le Meunier.

To make matters worse (for your diet): we smoked those breadcrumbs AND there’s hot & sour pepper jam underneath to ensure a potentially unfamiliar yet balancing twang for every forkful.

As a kid, I’d always preferred the blue box to fancified versions (until I learned about processed foods and evil corporations), but I’m loving this. #grinandbearitla goes live tomorrow.

I consider all these beautiful people co-founders of Finca to Filter.

Finca was conceived while working with @habitatguatemala with these fine folks. While building, throwing parties, and chasing sunrises, we wrestled with the f**ked up realities of things like the coffee sector.

Finca is a humble effort to get fairer prices to those who produce it.

@neals_yard_dairy cheeses. @chefjeremyfox and I talked about doing a Neal’s Yard plate after we got back from London last summer, almost a year ago now. We were lucky enough to spend a morning at their exporting operation with @lowejames. Ah, memories. Swipe for my favorite picture from that day.
