Oh girrrrl, I know we’re into May but just give me a moment to cheers about April because it was like “plot twist” and I was like “ok woah, I’m in.”

Art. Connection. Community.
Music. Movement.
Table Reading my bestie’s pilot for peeps.
Chekhov nights. Teaching. Dancing.
Strength training era (Even tho I’m a suuuuper beginner)

Leaning into discomfort. Rising.
Fighting for better. (healthcare. gun control. so much why is there so much?!)

Not all moments pictured because that’s impossible but…

Let’s see where this goes. 💫

3/8/2026 We filmed 4 scenes in one day which I produced, wrote, & acted in. It started out close to perfection & ended magically. 🙌🏽 So grateful!

Woke up this morning to texts from friends all over the country saying my photo is featured in @nytimes @politico @latimes on articles about @yesonca50 passing in overwhelming numbers in California!

So much gratitude to team @cagovernor @gavinnewsom @madame.potus @helen_amelga for inviting me to attend the pre Election rally with #Khive @tiffmc1013 @fierymaliha @tristanagalvan @analisaswan @mmodi93 @josecanyouseeby - Not only did I get to see @kamalaharris on 🔥🔥 talking about holding Trump accountable but also @jasmineforus and our Formidable Governor!

Reaching AAPI voters for Prop 50 was truly a team effort led by @cademocrats Vice Chair & my sister @deepasharmaca @aapicaucus Chair @harrisbknowin @fadccdp chair @mayorsasai Directors @melanievramil @helen_amelga with support from so many staff members! A special shoutout to Elaine and Sze for their leadership in reaching out to the Chinese American community, to Cameron, Melanie, Juslyn, Emily and @leadfilipinoaf for their outreach to Filipino American community, to Nic and @pivotorg for their outreach to Vietnamese American community, and to Gene, Steve, Grace, Hannah and @kafofund for their outreach to the Korean American community!

Thanks to their efforts, we built a coalition of 23+ orgs and created dialers in 7 AAPI languages and organized phonebanks and canvasses for 7 consecutive weeks, reaching tens of thousands of AAPI voters in the state!

We translated flyers into 8 South Asian languages, dropped in language content in WhatsApp groups across the state in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Punjabi, Bangla, Nepali, Urdu, & Gujarati!

This outreach now becomes a blueprint for other states to follow on how to do outreach to our AAPI communities, especially in a very short timeline and how to build strong and effective coalitions!

On a lighter note, I have discovered that I have now become a meme after my screaming face was featured in the @yesonca50 page! As I told my dear friend and founder of @fundher, I’ll do anything if that will motivate people to vote! 🥹💪
