All my adult life I’ve moved from place to place, chasing the stage, the next opportunity, with little plan or stability.

Then along came Mikkel, then our beautiful first born, and with them, the longing for roots, for calm, for a home.
That wish was fulfilled here in Esbjerg, Mikkel’s hometown, like my English hometown Hastings- by the sea!

Opening the Reformer & Barre studio has given me not just a passion that replaces my previous career, but a true sense of belonging and community.

Of course, my heart still misses my English family dearly …but luckily, the waters connect us ❤️
And here in Esbjerg, I’m surrounded by wonderful family too.
From an English heart to a Danish home… thank you, Esbjerg, for welcoming me.

And ofcourse a shout out to my @mmoeldrup for videoing this.

Why does Pilates look so easy but feel so tough-
Every Pilates exercise must be done with complete muscular control. No body part is left to its own devices. It is all a conscious, deliberate movement. This principle of control extends to the mind as well, as you learn to use it to control your movements with intention.
