Not normally ones to jump on trends, but we crushed 2016!
We held 7 events in our gallery, presented the first WALK UP CLASSIC, hosted over 30 guest artists, and somehow more!

• January — @blheuser completed the final stretch of his apprenticeship and started tattooing.
• February — Released the first Chicagorilla T-shirt.
• March — Hosted the 1st Annual WALK UP CLASSIC — a one-of-a-kind event with 20 of the country’s most prominent tattooers doing walk-ups only. Over 200 tattoos completed in 2 days!
• April — @deadlypreygallery show +
@sietomaldonado tattooed the Chicagorilla on @nickcolella
• May — @pauldobleman art show + book release, Continuing a Tradition
• June — @dansmithism & @shauntopper, Under Lock & Key
• July — Back to the Badlands — a Roy Boy retrospective (and the best damn tiger suit we’ve ever seen)
• August — @robertryan323, The Inborn Absolute show + book release
• October — @tattoomuseum stopped by and tattooed some of us +
@rakinglightprojects show
• November — The @cubs won the World Series and we tattooed Cubs tattoos for weeks after (and still do)
