2026 Homecoming Was Exceptional!
Thank you, @redstonefcu, for sponsoring our annual “2026 Feed the Band” effort! We appreciate your generosity and partnership. Special shout-out to @antdishinitout_ for preparing the delicious food. We appreciate all our Band Boosters who volunteered to serve the band. You could've been anywhere, but instead you showed up to serve the band. Thank you, AAMU community, for donating water and Gatorade. Lastly, thanks to your support in our various fundraisers, we were able to present @aamuband, under the direction of @profyoung02, with $2,000 to use as they see fit. Until next time!

The MMW Band Boosters visited Alabama A&M to welcome the 2026 first-year students and kick off our initial booster event. We provided two pallets of water for the band and encouraged the community to stop by the Morrison Building to drop off cases in the Band Room. Thanks to everyone, especially A&M Alums, for bringing additional cases to help keep the band hydrated. Special appreciation goes to MMW Alum Mr. Michael Lang, who transported both pallets of water without requesting any payment.

Support for the 2026 MMW is vital. Please consider joining the MMW Band Boosters Association, as we have several initiatives planned to help the band succeed this year.

In the upcoming weeks, we will award three scholarships—two to returning upper-level students and one to an outstanding freshman who shined during band camp. We invite you to join us in Atlanta for Alabama A&M’s first game against Howard University. On August 27, 2026, at 6:00pm EST, there will be an AAMU BAND BLOCK PARTY at Southwest DeKalb High School in Decatur, Georgia, prior to the game. Come see the 2026 Edition of the Marching Maroon & White Band.

Just an all-time opener on The Plains last night. Perfect temps, and we may have a team. Wild to see the ball flying like we did last night.

Also, I could’ve sworn I bought those tickets in row 38, not row 8… anywho, I had a blast sitting next to the Marching Maroon & White from Alabama A&M… Fordie, not so much.
