Antalya, Türkiye 🇹🇷

Turquoise waters, swims in the Mediterranean to escape the scorching heat (it felt like 50°C), boat giggles, a scarf from a local fabric shop, homemade falafel, McFlurries, kind souls, and a very happy El.

MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE 😎 [and friends 😁]

This is really a personal post that I want to share with the world. 🥹♥️ I’m afraid this is so terribly overdue - it’s been two months since the opening week and we had such a blast.

It probably won’t get shown to many people either because it’s not what I usually share, but I want to preserve these memories with my fellow Subternians (and one Eternian) as being part of MOTU was an absolute highlight for most of us. 🙏🏼🥰

I’m repeating myself but this was the coolest thing I’ve done in my life… so far. 😉

Our Subternian crew was largely chosen based on our strong physiques and height so you can imagine how it was on set. I actually felt rather stunted at my 5’9” while standing next to 6’5” guys like Dom and many others. 😅 If you want to see the bicep flex photo, swipe to image 2. 🤭

I wish we had had the whole crew together for this (this would have been closer to 30 people), however going to see the movie with a dozen people was definitely an experience I won’t forget. The way we kept pointing at each other when spotted on screen was very entertaining; I had to rewatch the movie just to make sure I hadn’t missed anything. 🤭

I also had the pleasure of sharing this group experience with my son and two close friends - thank you! And I really want to mention how much I appreciate all of these people; you know how everyone says that it’s hard to make friends as adults? Well, it’s not. You just need to meet likeminded people. 🥹

Ok, soppy post over, thank you for reading and we can get back to regular fitness posts again. 🤭

By the way, if you missed it at the cinema then the movie is now available on Amazon Prime! 😍

A few eagled eyed people have already messaged me and asked if I was in @mastersmovie ......
I spent an amazing couple of months last year rubbing elbows with some truly talented and incredible individuals. Memories that will last a lifetime.
To the Masters cast and crew, I salute you and thank you from the bottom of my heart
And to my fellow resistance fighters, words cannot describe how much you all mean to me. I hope we see each other again down the road, watching us all on the Big Screen was a surreal, unbelievable experience and I'm overjoyed I got to be there with you all.

FOR ETERNIA!!!

Last month, we hosted our ‘Community Co-Design Workshop’ in collaboration with @middlesexuniversity ✨

As we develop designs for our community garden/social space in Rushgrove Park, Colindale, it was integral that this process was led by the wants and needs of the local community. We decided where we wanted seating, what plants should be planted, and what activities the space should facilitate🌸🏡🐞🐛🌳 we will be discussing and developing these plans with @barnetcouncil in the coming weeks❗️

A massive thank you so all residents who attended, our amazing project facilitators @lauren.architecture @7aeyongg @magda.jaro , the incredible BTS crew led by @joannasu___ and the wonderful @chrissymrose from @middlesexuniversity who helped make this event happen!!!! A huge team effort from an all-female team🤪🤪🤪

Special shoutout to @harrychubb for supplying the mini trees and massive dogs🐕🐕🐕
