What an AMAZING turnout for our soft opening today! ☕️💙

We honestly didn’t expect so much love and support — it means the world to us.

A huge MAHALO to our amazing staff who worked incredibly hard to make today happen, and thank you to everyone who came by to celebrate this new chapter of Bean About Town with us.

And a very special thank you to those who have been there for us for so many years — Tony, since day one, Karim and family, Derek, Anthony, Richard our landlord, Mo and so many more of You know who you are.

After everything it took to get here, seeing the shop full of familiar faces, friends, neighbors and new customers was pretty emotional.

We’re back, Kaimukī!

This is only our soft opening! We’ll have our GRAND OPENING in September, once we’ve finished adding all those little details that make the space ours and have our new food program up and running.

We’ll keep you posted — lots more to come!

WE CARE. WE ROAST. WE BREW. WITH ALOHA.

MAHALO!#beanabouttown

May 24th, 2025: the day Oliver Widger and his cat, Phoenix, completed a remarkable 25-day solo sailing journey from Oregon to Hawaii.

I wasn’t really planning to do much with this footage, since I was literally running around with my camera in hand as I was recording and wasn’t even bothering to change any settings. I’d like to think I have some knack for taking “meh” footage and turning it into something beautiful though. This really was a special day and I’m so thankful I got to be there. Enjoy! 🌺

Gratitude Challenge ✨👊🏽✨

During certain seasons of my life I have found myself getting into emotional and mental ruts. I find myself complaining about how things are when I feel like there’s a gap between how things are and how I want them to be. When I feel off balance like this, I know it’s because my center is off, I’m not grounded in the right things, and focusing on the wrong things. It isn’t the way. Gratitude has been my saving grace in these seasons. It has saved me in tough seasons in ways beyond comprehension.

When I center myself in love and gratitude for what is, the doors have always opened to better. There’s a way to get where we want to be, when we do it with Love & Gratitude we get to where we want to be without force, instead with faith which feels lighter, more joyful and more fulfilling.

This is why, I am encouraging myself to take on another gratitude challenge, I’m calling on this challenge to help me get aligned and into the flow of manifesting more beautiful things in the most fulfilling way possible. Since I’ve become more private over the years, this is going to challenge me to share my story with openness. If you’d like to jump in, please do. I’d love to have some running mates and hear your stories too. Let’s do it together. Tag me in your daily gratitude post. #gratitude #gratitudechallenge #gratitudediary #gratitudeattitude
