okkkkk. the last year and a half consistently photographing anything music, my work has felt more me than ever. I think it’s because it feels like home? maybe from attending shows since 2012. the stillness I feel from fixating on one shot making sure I snap it correctly or it’ll go to waste.

I’m not sure why it took me this long to figure it out. how fascinating is it that these artists create something that makes you feel every type of emotion and frisson, becoming physical and emotional attachment to music. it kinda feels like being in love???

what goes on behind the scenes is beyond me. Ive never seen anything like it. how everything works???? up to thousands of people working on a festival to a small team working hours of prepping, no sleep, long hours, and post production. workers are asleep from exhaustion on site while thousands of watts of sounds are blasting throughout the venue. I have an obsession of storytelling through imagery. It defines who I am. i’ve become addicted to the energy and the creative process that comes with it. The very late nights falling asleep at my computer, the music itself, and the emotion I see in people when the music completely takes over.

the feeling when you start to hear your favorite song approaching and the bass follows. you feel it in your chest and feet. why be anywhere else. sweat dripping from the walls and the ceiling. A night to just release. I belong here, within the music, culture and memories. here’s a very small look from the last year and a half and also just some clips I truly love.

1. i started biking from show when i didn’t have my car
2. someone came up to me after this and said “hey i got a video of you dancing a little bit on stage”
3.1 tbsp at elsewhere. energy was fucking mad
4. like i said… people asleep as music pounds the walls for hours
5. that looooong editing process i mentioned
6. fred again.., over mono + lil yatchty at knockdown. i had sweat in my eye balls
7. the blaze at the mirage. i cry every time i watch this
8. Nitepunk and wave dash before heading on stage🫶🏻
9. when BRUX played at elsewhere for 3 hours.
10. this is what i meeeeannn 🥲
