🎓💜 NYU Men Entering Nursing Spotlight 💜🎓: Cinquie Williams, Leonard Castillo, Kevin Collazos, Nathaniel Hall, Michael Friedland, James Wong, Mohammed Osmanu, and Andrew Sun!

Cinquie Williams shares what makes the NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing experience so special:

✨ “What I like most about NYU Rory Meyers Nursing Program is how supportive everyone is. When I say everyone, I mean all the professors I encountered, Dean Angela Amar and Dean Amy Knowles—and even the security officers for the building. Shoutout to Ms. Gomez and Harvey!” ✨

At NYU Meyers, community matters 🤝🩺. From faculty mentors to staff members who help make students feel at home every day, success is truly a team effort.

Nathaniel Hall says: What I love most about nursing is that it allows us to lead with empathy while bringing our own personality into the care we give. Nurses meet people on some of the hardest and most vulnerable days of their lives, and the ability to truly understand them, connect in a human way, and even share a little humor to lighten the moment is incredibly meaningful. It’s a profession grounded in compassion, humanity, and authentic connection — which makes me wonder: why wouldn’t everyone want to be a nurse? 💜🩺

👏 Congratulations to all the MEN and the entire Class of 2026! 🎉🎊
Your hard work, resilience, and dedication have brought you to this incredible milestone. A meaningful and rewarding nursing career is ahead of you 🌟👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️.

❤️🩸 Be the reason someone gets a second chance. 🩸❤️

NYU Meyers nursing students are stepping up when it matters most—rolling up their sleeves to help address the critical blood shortage and save lives beyond the bedside. A big shout out to role model nursing student Mohammed Osmanu🩺, class of May 2026. He says:

“Donating blood for the first time was such an amazing experience. As a nursing student, I have learned about blood transfusions in class but actually seeing the behind the scenes process and being part of it gave me a whole new perspective. This experience reminded me that you don’t have to be in a hospital to save lives.” 🫶

We are very proud of you Mohammed!

From classroom learning to real-world impact, our students are proving that compassion doesn’t wait—it acts. Every drop donated is a lifeline, every donor a lifesaver.

Join us. Donate blood. Save lives.

✨ Meet Mohammed Osmanu ✨ NYU Meyers Class of May 2026 - a role model student!

Born in Ghana and raised in Westchester, NY, Mohammed is one of our star students at NYU Meyers College of Nursing. 🌍💜

What he loves most about being an NYU nursing student is the perfect balance between hands-on practice and classroom learning. Every lecture connects back to simulations and clinical experiences, making the material come alive. 👨‍⚕️📚

Mohammed is working toward becoming an ICU nurse, where he hopes to be a steady presence for patients at their most critical moments. His calm under pressure and passion for helping others shine through every clinical experience. 💪❤️

One of his most meaningful memories so far? A patient he cared for during clinicals told him he had truly made her day. That moment reminded him that even as a student, he’s already making a difference. 🌟

We are proud to celebrate Mohammed’s journey and the incredible impact he is already having in nursing. 💜 #MenInNursing #NYUMeyers #NursingJourney #icunurseinthemaking #meninnursing
