God led the way and I just followed.

From late nights to long clinicals with a sprinkle of tears and stress, I finally did it! Nevertheless, I am forever grateful for this journey, but the journey doesn’t end here. 🥂

Built in silence, no shortcuts. This legacy was earned. 🤙🏾

This isn’t just a membership, it’s a commitment to excellence and service. I’m proud to be a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. Grateful to the Theta Delta Chapter for allowing me to join a legacy that carries weight, history, and purpose.

God truly blessed me with strong line brothers and a Dean who held the standard every step of the way. This bond sharpened me, grounded me, and prepared me for greater. I’m excited for what’s next and committed to continuing to serve my community, using my voice where it matters most and standing for something bigger than myself.

“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed. Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless, and see that they get justice.” Proverbs 31:8–9 NLT

Jack of all trades, Master of 1 🎓

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭18‬-‭19‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Thank you to everyone who supported me through the years. I’ve lost a lot, but I never lost myself. Grateful for what was, proud of what is, and excited for what’s next.

Part 3: An Alpha Woman 💕

And God said, I’ll make a woman…

To Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®: you have given me so much and played a major role in shaping the woman I am today. Through this sisterhood, I have gained confidence, resilience, wisdom, and the tools I need to walk boldly into my purpose and become a successful woman.

I am truly grateful to be a part of such a powerful and impactful sisterhood, and I look forward to all that lies ahead on this journey.

I was blessed with the opportunity to be initiated into the Illustrious Epsilon Upsilon Chapter in Fall 2023. Since then, I have built lifelong bonds that I will cherish forever—each one a true blessing in my life.

To 26E: thank you for allowing me to be unapologetically myself, for always listening, and for showing up for me when I needed it most. I will forever cherish our memories and all the laughter we’ve shared. I love each and every one of you, and I will always be here for you.

To my 57 nieces: I am so incredibly proud of you all. It has been such a joy watching you blossom and grow. I love each and every one of you, and I will always be here for you—no matter what.

They told me to “be realistic”—I turned their ceiling into my floor.

In 7 days, my undergraduate journey will come to an end. On May 8th at 2:30 PM, I’ll be graduating from the University of South Alabama with my degree in Political Science and Philosophy. I’m beyond grateful to God for ordering my steps and giving me the opportunity to serve in a place that has given me so much.

After being involved in 20+ clubs and organizations, earning countless awards and accomplishments, and building relationships that will last a lifetime, I can truly say this experience shaped me into who I am today. From leadership to service to brotherhood, every moment mattered. I’m excited for what’s next. GO JAGS!

Part 2: The Nurse 🩺
Philippians 4:13
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

I whispered this to myself almost every single day throughout nursing school—and my God truly showed out.

I am incredibly proud of myself for making it through one of the toughest majors there is. From long lecture hours, all-nighters, and stressful days… to countless assessments, hundreds of templates, thousands of exam questions, ATI, and 12-hour clinicals—this journey was not easy.

Study sessions at Shelby, running on little to no sleep, and yes… many, many tears—but I pushed through it all.

And now, I can finally say: I DID IT.

Hearing over and over that I “will make a great nurse” fills my heart with so much joy and reassurance that I am exactly where I’m meant to be.

I’ve had the absolute BEST support system—my family, my friends, and my classmates. There is no way I could have done this without you all. (A special shout out to my parents for putting up with me!!)

To A-Team: I thank God for you every single day. You guys are truly family now. You kept me going when I felt like giving up, and I will forever be grateful for that. I love you all so much—WE MADE IT 🥹🩺

Part 1: The Graduate 🎓

Joshua 1:9
“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”

With that being said, thank you God for carrying me through it all and giving me the strength and courage to stand where I am today.

When I first stepped onto campus, I knew this was the place for me—but I never imagined how much I would grow. Being at South has truly made me a better person. The time has flown by, but I’ve enjoyed every minute of it.

I’m beyond thankful for my parents, my friends, and everyone who helped me get through these four years.

On May 8th at 9:00 AM, at the Mitch, I will be walking across that stage—finally turning years of hard work, prayers, and perseverance into reality. ❤️🎓
