“She bends words into weapons, her poetry a quiet storm. Patience isn’t waiting-it’s power brewing in silence.”

The film 'PORTALS' depicts a young boy exploring the world of mirrors. Mirrors are of significance in this story, as they have multiple superstitions surrounding them.

In most African cultures, it is believed that mirrors are a portal to the spiritual realm. Spirits or ancestors are able to be communicated with through mirrors.

The story sees a young boy sleeping and having a mirror directly facing them, thus unleashing a spiritual creature waking them from their slumber.

The Spirit then leads the young boy through the forest until they find clothing. The clothing then turns him into a spirit as well. Now he must influence the next soul to be a spirit.
