Excerpts from Day 1 of my @plus234art debut. The experience of showing my work on this scale to so many people has left a very strong impression on me.

This is my second time physically witnessing people engage with my work like this and the experience of this weekend has blown the door wide open on what I consider possible to do with my art: I've always known there was something here but now I know for sure that there is something here and now that I have had a taste of the spotlight there is no going back.

Art is serious business. It is fun, a lot of fun when it's not making you lose your mind, but it is serious business.

I was also invited to speak on a panel moderated by @jj_dpm, the man behind the amazing curation of the digital art pavilion where my works were showing. We discussed the roles blockchain technology plays in the life and work of 21st Century artists and the peculiarities that African artists navigating this global ecosystem face. I was blessed to share the stage with amazing talents who also have a wealth of experience with this still emerging technology so it was a great conversation indeed. More power to you @anjoladave @imit0r @anthonyazekwoh
