FALAK | فلك

I created Falak to launch at Bahrain’s long-awaited new skate park in Riffa — inspired by the effortless, creative energy of Venice Beach and the hope that this new space becomes a meeting point for our skaters, artists, musicians and youth.

But this was never just about launching a men’s bracelet collection. It was about celebrating the incredible creative community we have on our little island. 🇧🇭

Styled by Bahraini talent Aysha Mattar in pieces from The Island Vintage, with local drinks by Lulu’s Deli, and the creative presence of Artology and Sukoon. Bahrain’s avid Skater, Saif and Alaia AlRafea brought the modelling, skating & attitude, while the brilliant Karimi brothers, Mo & Ahmed, captured it all. Our soundtrack came from emerging Saudi artist Shargeeya, bringing a little regional magic into the mix.

A completely homegrown story shining a different light on Bahrain — far from the everyday headlines.

We are islanders, artists, skaters, musicians, designers and dreamers — and we have so much talent to share with the world.

Welcome to Falak. Welcome to a glimpse of our Bahrain. 🇧🇭✨

• P.S: A huge thank you @nabil.pq @_premierq for gifting our community with this special skate park. You have no idea what this means to the youth on the island. ♥️

Meet our collaborator, Mohamed Karimi 📸

The journey continues, and the stories behind it unfold.

As part of TheMENAEdit’s growing creative network, we’re introducing Mohamed Karimi, a Bahrain-based commercial photographer working across food, lifestyle, product, and portrait photography throughout the GCC.

Mohamed joined our first TheMENAEdit journey to Cairo as both photographer and creative collaborator, documenting the people, places, and experiences that shaped the trip. Through his lens, he created TheMENAEdit’s “Archive Album,” preserving the moments and stories that defined the journey.

Rooted in observation, authenticity, and storytelling, his work reflects a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, culture, and often-overlooked details.

This is one story from Creative Dialogues Cairo Edition ’26. Follow along as we introduce more of the creatives contributing their perspectives, talents, and voices.

You’ll also be able to take home Lulu’s Deli Strawberry Jam, available exclusively at Nina The Greek throughout the collaboration.
