Midsummer Night’s Dream with Nashville Shakespeare Festival ✨🫏💍💕🧚🏻🌺
This show with these people was pure magic, and I miss it every day. I got to work with lifelong friends, old and new (Chelsea has now joined the recently engaged lovers’ circle!! What are the odds? ❤️) and watch my beloved + all the SuCo absolutely tear it up every night. I miss Clocktower during rehearsal breaks and sweaty hugs and quick changes and the beautiful costume, lighting, and set design! I’m grateful to every member of the cast and crew for their positivity, professionalism, and support, and to NSF for trusting me with Helena 💕

“…Now do I wish it, love it, long for it,
And will forevermore be true to it.”
What an amazing summer with @nashvilleshakes and A Midsummer Night’s Dream!! Demetrius was one of the first roles I ever knew I wanted to play and I couldn’t have asked for a better crew to bring him to life with. Thanks to everyone who came out to support us and make this Dream come true 💜

I struggle to find the right words for this post, as none seem to fully sum up the emotions, experiences, and achievements that I have been so grateful for over the past 3 months. This cast and crew became my home away from home while we made such a beautiful show come to life. To each and every one of you- Thank you!
It has, hands down, been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life to play Quince. To not only turn a Peter into a Petra without changing the fundamentals of her character, but to play it alongside these five gentlemen was a gift and a pleasure. And to be able to play a lively, curious and mischievous fairy like Moth as well was such great fun!
To get ready every weekend alongside such amazing women that I’ve come to admire and love like sisters was a great privilege and joy.
The opportunity to work with such a positive, professional and collaborative director and production crew was an absolute honor.
To my SuCo family- CRACK! I will forever be grateful to have earned your friendship, love and support. I love you my SuCoSiblings!
Thank you to everyone who came out to support our production even through the crazy heat wave!
I’m saddened to see this show come to an end, but it, along with this tremendous company, will always have a special place in my heart. 💜
What a wonderful dream it has been! 🌙🪻🧚🏻‍♀️
***to those I didn’t tag bc instagram is holding me back, please know I see you, appreciate you, and love you.***

the time I’ve spent over the past two months with @nashvilleshakes has been a dream come true. growing up in Tennessee and traveling to Nashville to see Shakespeare in the Park is a summer activity that is near and dear to my heart. Seeing professional actors in the park for the first time inspired me to make my own dream of doing the same thing a reality. Hearing my voice boom out in the park for the first time was an emotional one. That little girl, who always watched wide eyed from the back of the bleachers- this is for her. All of the sweat, blood, and tears that have gone into making this a reality- it’s all for her. And I have no plans of slowing down. If you haven’t come out to see this years production of A Midsummer Nights Dream, what are you even doing?? It’s free! And it’s amazing! Working with each and every one of these professionals has been a privilege and you don’t want to miss what we’ve put together for you! Three more weekends left of our run before it’s gone forever!
