First, we received an Honorable Mention for Best Documentary at the 15th Annual Richmond International Film Festival.

Second, we’re excited to be part of the festival’s streaming platform, opening up the opportunity for even more people to see our film from wherever they are.

Streaming begins September 22nd!

If you haven’t had a chance to see Kaleidoscope Child yet, we’d love for you to join us. You can copy and paste the registration link in the comments to register and watch.

There’s a smile on his face, but I wore him out. 😍
Close to 18,000 steps on Friday and another 13,000 on Saturday. That’s New York.

Great highlight was lunch with @mattpwolf down on Canal Street - director of Another Hayride, the Louise Hay documentary short that I had the honor of narrating during the pandemic. I came away with admiration for his integrity and the care with which he approached both the work and the people involved. Matt later took on the monumental task of directing Pee-wee as Himself for HBO - a project that earned him a well deserved Emmy Award.

We also made it to Oh, Mary! While the play is hysterical, we couldn’t help but wonder how much better it would have been to see it with alums Titus Burgess or the recently departed Maya Rudolph or the soon-to-arrive Bowen Yang as Mary.

We rounded out the weekend with a stellar afternoon in the gorgeous, Tiffany stained glass-adorned Saint Michael’s Episcopal Church on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Unity of New York hosted a screening of Kaleidoscope Child Documentary with director @mockiedo Michael Patrick McKinley and @britthallnyc and the Unity community couldn’t have been more generous in their welcome and support.

Thank you again Britt, Leo Daignault, Tom Trimm, Robin Hackett and so many old friends we got to reunite with. 🏙 ❤️

Celebrating our brilliant director Michel Patrick McKinley @mockiedo for his vision!

We learned this morning that Cine Paris, the monthly film festival in France, has honored our film Kaleidoscope Child with the June Prize for Best Documentary. Oui! Tres magnifique!

We're so proud of everyone on the film crew who traveled overseas - boarding planes, trains, and tuktuks bumping along down innumerable paths, remote villages, classrooms and never once complaining. Thank you @dentonadkinson @dsm_stories - you're an indelible part of this beautiful film.

The final closing of our film says

Not The End

Our desire for the Kaleidoscope Child Documentary was never simply to make a film, but to help forge a path toward an enduring future for Kaleidoscope Child Foundation - creating an endowment that will continue supporting global education and generations of children still to come.

We are only at the beginning of this film festival journey, and already the response has deeply moved us.

I hope you’ll join us in helping this film, these children, and the mission of global education to continue to thrive.

Please share the story, invite others to follow the journey, attend a screening when possible, and consider supporting the ongoing work of Kaleidoscope Child Foundation as we continue widening the circle of impact together.

🌟 We’re honored and joyously overwhelmed to share that Kaleidoscope Child Documentary received the top prize at the 59th WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival here in Houston last night, earning the Platinum Remi Award for Best Documentary. 🌟

Michael Patrick McKinley @mockiedo adds another well-deserved honor to his body of work.

A heartfelt shout-out to @gottmichael who not only showed up in support but brought a beautiful group from Unity of Houston to fill the seats and champion the cause for the evening screening.
(Below a Micheal sandwich on a carpet that happened to be red 🥰 )

Because we won’t be present for the closing awards program, the WorldFest founders surprised Michael before the screening with the announcement, giving all of us the chance to celebrate this moment together.

Quiet On The Inside — Scottsdale 2026 💗🙏🪶🌵🪄

Spoiled 💕 Some gatherings are just gatherings. And then there are the ones where retreat fairy dust covers everything - where the souls that show up are so perfectly matched with grace, expansion and fullness.

Quiet On The Inside - Scottsdale 2026 was that.

I have been leading retreats for a long time. Long enough to know that the alchemy of a group cannot be manufactured, coaxed, or planned. It either arrives or it doesn’t. This one arrived fully, quietly, beautifully and never left.

And then last night, as if the weekend needed one more gift - the first spiritual center screening of Kaleidoscope Child Documentary was held in the generous space of New Vision Center for Spiritual Living. What followed - the Q&A, the conversation, the love in that room - was the kind of feedback that says: keep going. This matters.

I am full. Grateful beyond the reach of the right words. And already in awe of what wants to unfold next.

All shall be well and all shall be well and all manner of things shall be well. 🌿
