this feels stupid hard. i am a taurus so i hate change and once you are in my tribe, i don’t like to let go (like a dragon guarding gold).

i knew i was in for an adventure when i first met Jane and she lied about having an “annual halloween party.” 6 yrs later and im so glad her and Maude chose me to move in. we survived a freaking pandemic together AND stayed roommates and friends! like i said, letting go of gold is hard.

from HOPR to halloween to chasing cleo around the house to give her medicine - the adventure has been so fun and i cannot wait to find out what happens next.

Kick arse in London Jane! Please find some nice gents for when Maude and I visit. and please don’t lose your key, you’re gonna need it when you visit.

p.s. our zodiac signs are all next to each other - if you think i’m not still gonna read yours, you’re crazy!

p.p.s. shout out to Jas who was in so many of the pics i have of Jane and who was the first to leave

2 of 2:

2024 already feels lighter and i’m excited for what’s in store. even though im a fitness girlie now i hope the animals will still consider me the aunt best for lounging.

Some more (but certainly not exhaustive) highlights from last year:
1. classic wake up call from jack
2. getting to see the yellow house girls (sarah carson included) and families and celebrate our 10 yr reunion
3. another time cleo put up with me
4. working my ass off all year and starting a side hustle as an event facilitator
5. dog sitting the zoos is always a delight (this is when they jumped on my bed with no help after tricking me for two days that they couldn’t make the jump)
6. i got to see the 2 biggest concerts of the year (decade, century?!). what a blessing to be able to have a slumber party with T Swifty and a dance party with Bey
7. jack on timeout
8. went all out for halloween this year and really got my team involved (this is our office skeleton that i named after my coworker 😂)
9. not an animal. but i wore these slippers for all major holidays this year because they make me feel like a 1930s movie star.
10. my vintage sensibilities always wants holidays to be a combo of my big fat greek wedding with all the family and little women with all the friends around in merriment. this year was pretty close. cant wait for all the celebrations 2024 will bring!

No white pants or shoes after Labor Day #summerisover

May - Aug. Attempting to mark the passage of time not by how many PT appointments I had but by how much glitter I put on ✨ (and the fact that I haven’t been able to put my suitcase back in storage ✈️)
