Getting picked on by @therealabbylee in front of a gym filled with talented dancers… check!
This girl used to CRY in dance class because she was too afraid to dance around the rest of her class. Fast forward to yesterday, just 4 years later when Abby Lee asked her to stand in front of the whole gym while she critiques, she didn’t hesitate at all! Later she told me how disappointed she was that she couldn’t hold her leg like the big girls, but she didn’t realize that just getting up there was the biggest win! For me that’s what’s most important about dance, not the competitions or even the technique. Dance has allowed her to grow into such a confident queen! ❤️
