We challenged two couples at DISCOVER LOCAL to dress each other in 15 minutes — with a twist ⭐️

First, each couple had to blindly pick a colour. Green and white it was! Ready, set, go!

They had 15 minutes to find an outfit for their partner in those colours, using only pieces from our market vendors.

30+ local brands.
2 randomly picked colours.
One outfit each.

Who understood the assignment?

Want to take on the challenge? Find us at the next DISCOVER LOCAL on 26 August.

📍 @themojomarket · Sea Point
🗓 Wednesday, 26 August · 5–9 PM
Free entry

Here’s to the women who make things happen!

The big ideas, the quick fixes, the “leave it with me” moments, the voice notes, the problem-solving and everything in between.

We’re lucky to work alongside some seriously brilliant women, both in our team and on the other side of the screen.

Happy Women’s Day from the Mimik team. 🤍

Not every vintage piece has a story.
But every vintage curator does.

We asked three of the vintage curators joining DISCOVER LOCAL to share the stories, lessons and myths they’ve collected along the way.

Swipe through, then come meet them in person.
