We had a great time celebrating the Bearcats and our lovely families! It was so much fun getting to bring all the things we love together - our families, sisters, and the bearcats!

Unfortunately we found out that there is a 20% chance an athlete can re-tear their ACL after repairing it. Maddy first had surgery to repair her ACL, meniscus and knee May 23, 2024. She followed her doctors orders, went through PT and worked hard to be fully cleared 💯 back to cheer February 2025. Then in July 2025 while working on her tumbling (on a spring floor) Maddy perfectly landed a standing tuck and felt a pop, only days before heading out to Missouri for NCA cheer camp. She walked it off and went to cheer camp honestly thinking it was a scar tissue popping. Back home two week later we brought Maddy to her doctor because she felt her knee was not stable without a brace even though she was not in pain and successfully went through NCA college cheer camp. MRI confirmed her ACL had a tear! Maddy was devastated, she was not mentally ready to go through surgery again so soon. After speaking with her college cheer coaches Maddy completed her sophomore year and the 2025/2026 cheer season (flying only) - going to NCA Nationals in Daytona where her team took home a National title! Today, June 9, 2026 Maddy had surgery to repair her ACL and meniscus and will start her road to recovery. Your thoughts and prayers appreciated for Maddy during this time. 🙏🥰❤️
