MODEL MONDAYS 15+ years in the modeling game. A long hiatus. Now I’m BACK, but this time, on my terms. Independent. Intentional. Experienced. Using everything I’ve learned as a seasoned professional model, turned educator, entrepreneur & mama to disrupt the narrative around aging, beauty, fashion, and what it means to still serve a LOOK. 🔥 Saturday night at Walk on the Wild Side: Part Two, produced by Elegant Fantasy Events I hit the runway for 4+ incredible local designers and let me tell you… I may be Auntie status (according to my 14yr old) however mama and auntie still doing it for the girls! This chapter isn’t about proving I still belong in the game, It’s about redefining what it looks like now Age gracefully? Absolutely. Show up boldly? Always. Serve looks? Effortlessly. #ModelMondays #SeasonedModel #ModelOver40 #Over40Style #ModelLife #RunwayModel #FashionOver40 #AgeIsAnAsset #AuntieStillGotIt #StillServing #IndependentModel #MamaModel #ModelEntrepreneur #ModelEducator #FashionAndStyle #WalkOnTheWildSide #RunwayReady

MODEL MONDAY Starting a beautiful budding beauty partnership with Mented Cosmetics 🤎 Mented Cosmetics As one of the pioneering Black woman-owned beauty brands, Mented has been creating easy-to use, vegan makeup thoughtfully designed for melanated skin, with gorgeous neutral hues made to complement a range of skin tones. I’m trying their Vacay bronzer blush, one of their top sellers, and I’m obsessed with the effortless, dewy+matte no makeup makeup look it gives. Say yes to skin-care! And with Mented updating their product line, I’m excited to see what’s next! 🤎 #mentedcosmetics #mentedbeauty #blackownedbeauty #nomakeupmakeup

The Model Blueprint - 8/15 I really enjoyed hosting my first workshop as Model Director for MFW! The models were receptive to the training and discussion. I also created an ebook for them to refer to at any stage of their journey (coming to the public soon 🙂). Thank you models for entrusting us to guide you in your creative endeavors. Thank you @drustyles_ for speaking to the models about agency standard & expectations, @x.rayjohn for shooting updated model digitals for comp cards, and jamilahameena @1118og for taking measurements and assisting throughout the entire day! More content coming soon :) Photos @1118og WHERE SHOULD WE HOST THE NEXT MODEL BLUEPRINT?! 👀

From garage sales to the runway and now to the REVAMP. Growing up with a single mom, I learned early that style doesn’t have to come with a high price tag. Garage and estate sales taught me the art of finding those incredible pieces for a fraction of the cost, mixing high + low, and seeing the beauty in what someone else might have overlooked. 15+ years of modeling later, my style has evolved into a mix of chic, timeless, thrifted and boutique pieces however my love for giving clothing a second life has never changed. That’s why being a recent new @revampswapfest Brand Ambassador feels so aligned with my journey. I believe one person’s “trash” really can become another person’s treasure and sometimes the best style is often about how you reinvent it. I’m so excited to style, swap, thrift and celebrate secondhand fashion with you at the BIG Fall Revamp Clothing Swap Fest! Let’s give great clothes another life and make them look GOOD doing it. 😉 #TheRevamp #revampclothingswap #secondhandstyling #thriftedstyles #sustainablefashion
