One man’s cult is another’s family, amiright?
Today we celebrate the sweet baby Michael Ahern, the hardest working girl in Providence showbiz. ❤️
Michael, thank you for your tenacity, your persistence, your scheduling acumen, and your eternal patience. Thank you for making weird little queer horror movies with me all these years, and may YOU never be able to run away from me. I love you.
All Mike wants for his birthday is for you to support Monster Makeup and our work by streaming Saint Drogo for $4.99.
We’re especially stoked about this one because we’re self-distributing, which means every stream goes directly to supporting our lil indie production company and helping us make our next feature, Queen of the Rats. 🐀
So, for Michael’s birthday: spend five bucks, support queer indie horror, and watch some gays have an absolutely terrible time in Provincetown. ❤️ monstermakeupllc.com
SAINT DROGO (2023)
A neo-noir queer horror film about identity, conformity, addiction, obsession, guilt, and the desperate search for connection, all set against the bleak, desolate beauty of Provincetown in the off-season.
🏆 Best Horror Feature, Flickers Vortex Film Festival
🏆 Best Special FX, Flickers Vortex Film Festival
🏆 Winner, Nightmares Film Festival
“Folk horror and queer inclusivity collide in Saint Drogo” — Rue Morgue
“A psychedelic tale of guilt and gore” — Dread Central
“‘Death Drop Gorgeous’ filmmakers elevate their game” — Bloody Disgusting

Junes been wild. I was reminded very recently that this is one magical life filled with strange and wonderful people. From Graduations, festivals, conventions, award ceremonies and artist talks to ribbon cuttings, filming, constructed a glory hole (for art), late nights and early mornings.

Happy pride yall, I’m lucky to know you ❤️
