Last Friday I attended the @womansplainpod first annual summit, and I’m so glad I got to be part of it.

@modernbreadandbagel provided the bagels, cream cheese and coffee, and I was honored to receive the Impact Award for turning a personal mission into real impact!

What I loved most was getting to spend the day with so many intelligent, friendly and passionate women. Most were entrepreneurs and leaders in their industries, and it was so inspiring to hear about what they’re building and get to know them. There was so much shared enthusiasm for making the world of business a better place for women.

As evident by my obvious baby bump, I’m also very pregnant with my third daughter! That made being in that environment especially meaningful. I want my girls to grow up knowing they can do anything they’re passionate about, and I hope that seeing me pursue what I love helps them believe that for themselves.

Thank you to Womansplain for including me and for this recognition. What a special day ❤️

Eating goooood. 🥯🥗🌯**All 100% gf & celiac safe except Goop kitchen, as they don’t operate a dedicated gluten free facility and there’s risk of cross contam.**

We choose the best. And we’re pretty picky about what goes on your plate.

It starts with Vienna Beef, but it doesn’t stop there.

🍞 Turano French rolls for our Italian Beef sandwiches

🌾 Modern Bread & Bagel for gluten-free buns that let you enjoy our hot dogs, burgers, Chi-Town Tuna Melt, and more without missing out on flavor

🌶️ Mauro Provisions giardiniera for our Italian Beef sandwiches, created by Chicago native and celebrity chef Jeff Mauro

🧀 New School American Cheese by Chef Eric Greenspan, available on our cheeseburgers and as an add-on to our signature chili dog, The Pearl

🌭 French’s Mustard, because some things are classic for a reason

🍅 Heinz Ketchup, because we don’t mess around with ketchup

☕ Lavazza for our affogato

Good food starts with good ingredients.

We don’t do cheap. Neither should you.

A proper Italian Beef starts with the right roll. We use Turano French rolls, pile on the beef, and finish it with Mauro Provisions giardiniera. That’s how we like it.

Gluten-free doesn’t mean missing out. Our Chi-Town Tuna Melt comes on a poppy seed bun, but you can substitute a gluten-free bun from Modern Bread & Bagel and still enjoy a great sandwich without compromise.

Meet The Pearl, our signature chili dog, made even better with New School American Cheese by Chef Eric Greenspan. A classic with a little extra.
