After nearly a 6-year hiatus, I finally finished coloring this beautiful piece by @moderncoloring @jenniferzimmermann.

It was my first time experimenting on brown paper, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well certain colored pencils worked on it.

The background was a bit rushed—as you can probably tell from the uneven black strokes 😁—but overall, I’m really happy to be creating again.

Totally forgot to post up some pics from our trip up to #saugatuck and #hollandmichigan ! It was great to get away and enjoy some of the #3rdcoast and see some of the sights. My amazing wife found a killer pad, and we had a blast. Holland was beautiful and hosted featured some amazing gardens. Enjoy! #puremichigan #westernmichigan #summer #summertime #vacation #decompress #greatfoodanddrinks #familytime❤️

I really enjoyed colouring Ivy Fae🌿 from @moderncoloring, Jennifer Zimmerman.
For #faebruary2025 #faebruary
You can find her in Jennifer's Etsy shop.
I like that Jennifer drew those wee hearts on her wings, maybe for the month of love?
Thank you to my sweet friend @craftytries23 for the teal green suggestion, I love it! 😊

This October marks 27 years with my better half @moderncoloring ! BITD we used to drive down and vacation down in the OBX. There was nothing better than kicking off my boots to walk in the sand after a long drive. Although I never owned a first gen Ram, I always thought they were the one of the most significant trucks of the modern era. Hoping to get our toes in the sand sometime soon! #inktober2024 #inktoberprompt3 #inktoberpromptboots #boots #ram #dodgeram #ramstudio #firstgenram #bootsontheground #bootsoff #vacationplanning #roadtrip #sketch #penandink #doodle #automotiveart #automotiveartist #cantwaittogetouttahere #detroit #penandink #loosesketch #perspectivedrawing #theartofstorytelling

Cheers…to all of the amazing mothers on Mother’s Day! My mother, mother-in-law, sister-in-laws, and dear friends (who are like sisters) inspire me every day. They are not only fabulous moms, but are also smart, creative, talented, beautiful inside and out, and just rockstars all around. Nothing but love for them on Mother’s Day and the other 364 days of the year! #mothers #mothersday #blessed #happymothersday #mom #momanddaughter #motherslove #daughter #daughterlove❤️ #motherdaughter
