Kept waiting for an alarm to go off all day and wake me up from this dream of a wedding. I continue to come to the realization that these moments only get better the more you look back. As time passes, our memories become more meaningful. A wedding film is so much more than just a “wedding film.” It’s a trip back to one of the greatest days of people lives. Curt and Brittany’s wedding film is GOING TO SLAP. It’s going to be amazing. I know that because they are amazing. These films are a reflection of the amazing people we get to work with, not our talents. We are just holding the mirror. I was a little bit nervous when I saw the Nor’easter in the forecast for Kelsie and Trent’s wedding day. They had planned a wedding at @saintclementscastleandmarina with so much of the day meant to be outside on their stunning grounds. But these two focused on what mattered most- getting married and just enjoying their day together, as it was, with their friends & family! ❤️ And honestly, even with the gloomy skies, everything felt vibrant, colorful and so so beautiful! 🙌💕 Congratulations Kelsie & Trent! Thank you for asking me to be a part of capturing your wedding! What an incredible day to remember! ☺️🙌 . . . jenni + winchester🤍 100% chance of rain. And just when we needed it most, the skies cleared. Getting to photograph Jenni & Winchester at the Wadsworth Mansion was such a special one. As photographers themselves, having them choose me to document their vow renewal was an incredible honor. It’s the little details at a wedding that truly showcase a couple’s personal journey together. For Rachel and Blake, it was about weaving pieces of their story into the day wherever we could. 🦋 Butterflies were incorporated throughout the wedding to honor Rachel’s late grandmother. Even the blue patterned linen was intentionally chosen because of its beautiful butterfly detail. Ceremony memorial chairs allowed loved ones who could no longer be there to still have a place in such an important moment. As the wedding party processed down the aisle, each person placed a rose on one of the chairs as a beautiful way to honor and remember them. Signature cocktails were named after their three dogs — who, fittingly, are all named after characters from Friends, their favorite show. Rachel dancing with her grandfather, that didn’t leave a dry eye in the place. A candle lit private last dance before joining your guests for an after party. So much more, I can go on forever! These may seem like small details, but they make such a meaningful impact on the overall guest experience. They allow guests to feel immersed in a wedding that is uniquely and unmistakably Rachel and Blake. Because the most memorable weddings aren’t just beautiful, they tell your story.
