Precision Roasted Coffee
Edinburgh, UK
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
The multi-roaster cafe is a dying breed. For the last 4 years we’ve worked hard to build relationships with incredible roasters and people around the world. If your stuff hits our shelf, you’re doing something right. We’re really proud to announce our third collaboration, this time with @module.roast. Paul founded Module just 16 months ago, but his influence on coffee in Edinburgh stretches back nearly 20 years. His café was a blueprint for BEATNIK, as it has been for countless others across the UK and Europe. This collaboration has been a long time coming. In 2025, he stepped away from café ownership to focus on roasting. Module is the result: a deliberately small team bringing decades of experience to exceptional coffees. Precision, consistency and a willingness to push boundaries. Limited releases, an intentionally small wholesale list and a clear sense of purpose. For this release, we’ve chosen M24: a natural Yellow Catuai from @bambitoestatecoffee, Panama, from the 2025-26 harvest. Exceptionally clean and sweet, with pronounced pineapple and tamarind. Set between two mountain ridges, Bambito benefits from distinct microclimates and a family legacy stretching back to the early 1900s. A remarkable coffee from an estate with deep roots, roasted by someone who helped shape our own. Launching Saturday. Retail only, with very limited boxes available. There isn’t enough to serve by the cup so this one’s for you to brew at home. You know what to do.

One highlight of the day was tasting the excellent Motta Yellow Honey coffee at the @taithcoffee stand. I tasted some delicious Vietnamese coffee at the @wearenamsong stand. I took the opportunity to have some hands-on barista practice at the @brewbridgeuk stand.

SIP FEST HAUL @sipcoffeefestival What an amazing event! I went for the morning slot hoping the first half an hour would be a bit calmer (and it was). Thankfully I didn’t need my wheelchair or rollator, so I was able to move around a lot more easily than expected! My husband, mum and I got to speak to so many awesome people. Both people we have met before and some totally new faces. Everyone was lovely and the vibes were so good. We really had to restrain ourselves on the spending, but still came away with 8 bags of coffee and 3 cinnamon buns. I missed out on TA and Fennel’s stand, which I’m disappointed about too! And I really wanted a gorgeous olive ceramic cup but didn’t have the budget left for it. So anyway, here’s my coffee & sticker haul 🤎☕️🫶🏻 What did everyone else buy!?

I've finally come down from the buzz of my first Saturday off in weeks, fuelled by a multitude of excellent coffees, chats and mind-blowings - including a conversion to matcha courtesy of @made_uk_. Apologies to everyone who had to listen to me saying, "This time last year I was in Colombia roasting coffee..." but in my defence, half the stock I saw *was* Colombian - and I was wired on free samples 🤣 As if that wasn't exciting enough, Petra has opened the most glorious yarn shop and it was thrilling to be able to see and squish the gorgeous hanks in person. Just look at those colours I chose to make a hat! I could have spent three times as much as both events, but being poor for so long means reining myself in for a little bit longer 😬 #sheffieldindependent #sipcoffee #sleepisforlosers
