Building more and more momentum on the lower back/hip rehab using an amalgamation of what I've learned from @jesseburdick and @baxperformancerehab to continue improving my ability to hinge and squat under heavier and heavier loads.

385 x 8 on the RDLs today (44 pounds more than last week)
155# x 10 on SSB Squat (20 pounds more than last week)

Both with zero pain and zero loss of strength/control (which was a MAJOR issue on any squats over 105 pounds until last week)

🏆2026 NPC SF CHAMPIONSHIPS CLASSIC PHYSIQUE OVERALL CHAMPION 🏆
(SWIPE TO SEE HIM SMILE)

My first open overall as a coach besides prepping myself for the Maxfitpro. Class winners many times I have a pretty good track record for 1sts and novice overalls but as my coaching evolves so do my clients and as my clients evolve I have been bringing more serious competitors. Adam got the title and is first overall champion for ChoppyCrew and will always hold that title. But stay tuned more to come 🙌

Adam my friend words can’t describe how proud I am of you or how thankful I am for the friendship we have. I told you when I met you could go far and I would take you there if you trusted me and you took the chance 2 years all in and now your a champion. And the crazy part is this is still just the beginning for you. Over the last 2 years you’ve become one of my closest friends so I know how much has been put in not just physically but mentally too. Life’s thrown a lot at you but you continue to overcome .You might be a champion on stage now but you’ve always been a champion. Winning is a conscious decision and you chose a long time ago. #choppycrew #bodybuilding #grimreaper #classicphysique

Continuing to be my lats' worst nightmare in effort to force them to take on the shape of a manta ray.

Definitely progressing the intensity of the stimulus and the mind-muscle connection to my lats with the help of coach @choppychimp and boo boo @neira_physique_pro / @j3university videos 🤣

Loving the fit, feel and look of these @modusimo_powerbuilding retro shorts. This latest drop is 1000% my aesthetic. Get ready for the badass tops from this drop on leg day 😎

You can use @choppychimp code CHIMP to get 10% off any of the badass Modusimo gear.

Lower back was tighter than usual this morning after heavy overhead presses 9 hours earlier.

Found this little stretching/rotation would loosen things up just long enough to do these lifts pain/discomfort free. I don't plan to try and use this trick to go heavy, but I'm hoping it'll help me make continuous forward progress.

Today I hit 341# / 155kg for a top set of 8 RDLs that felt pretty good and then 125# / 57kg on SSB Squats. These are very low numbers, especially the squat, but they're heavier and more pain free than I've been able to do in quite some time (as of last week, 105# was the heaviest I could load squat without my spine COMPLETELY giving out going into the hole).

Every step forward is a step closer to the goal and the best way to keep things moving is to focus on little wins and not how far away from my best numbers I am right now.
