I haven't hosted a dinner party at my house in so many years I lost count. Starting my business ten years ago, I started working out of my home office and slowly, as the years passed, my entire home became my office, workspace, warehouse, fulfillment center, etc. I became shy to invite friends over because it didn't seem presentable. I've had karaoke nights with smaller groups as that's much easier to manage.
Last night, what was supposed to be a one on one hang with my dear friend @themissmarquez grew into a much larger get- together. I had some old and some new friends, all people who bring me joy and we made spring rolls and played some games I never heard of but were so much fun! It was exactly what I needed that I didn't even know that I needed!! It felt like it brought me back to life. I had forgotten how much I loved game nights! Let's bring it back on a regular basis! Thank you to the official Rice Rappers - everyone who joined and brought deliciousness! And for helping me prep and clean up with my gimpy hand. 🙏❤️😘🫶🏽
