I came here with a dream and first two years were a lot of learning and unlearning. Unlearning the English I spoke, the ways of driving, the was#ya of communication, the ways of expression and learning new ways of a ‘regular’ daily life. Learning a bunch of new skills, learning to foam carve, animate, paint, airbrush, how to behave on my first set here, the terminology for set, making connects, meeting new people, learning how to brand yourself, how to be a professional and how to keep the eyes on growth and keep working hard. 🙆🏻‍♀️ It came at a cost of missing all my favorite people, being stuck to video calls, missing important events but trying to connect with everyone as much as possible. 🤍 It also came with my first play at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival which sort of became a solo trip for me that I loved. My first time working at Halloween Horror Nights, a class with Richard Holland at USC, working at the Huntington Garden for an amazing play, doing multiple short films and my first ever music video. There were so many doors that were opened for me the minute I moved here and I tried all of them. Now 9 years later, I have finally found my place. 🫶🏼✨ Still dreaming, still eager and still waiting to try all the doors that I open for myself. 🧿

Where do I begin lol, thank you so much to everyone that pressed play, shared and listened to ‘Trading Places’. I wrote this song right around this time last year & it’s the first and only song I’ve written on E flat guitar tuning. What took only 15 minutes to write, I knew it was special the moment the idea arrived. Truth be told I was nervous as hell last week, mainly because I haven’t been that vulnerable, raw & honest on a released record before. Once again thanks to @chris_plante for the stellar co-production & mix on this one, I’m so proud of what we accomplished. Thanks to @jonrezin for the wonderful master as always! Special thanks to @jacob_rodier for capturing me as only he can, pure and true; we made a generational piece of art. And last but not least, special thanks to the wonderful crew that helped bring such magic to life, truly was one of the best days of my life, if only I could live it again. At least we have this video to recapture the moment forever. Love you all, see you soon.

It all started last year around December when I was drunk bullshitting with Vu. I told him, "bro I'm a rapper." So I read him some shitty raps I wrote in my notes app and he goes... dude me too! Then he showed me his shit and I was like... damn okay... wait he's ACTUALLY A RAPPER! Ever since then, I wanted to direct a music video for him. Flash forward half a year later, and BRUCE WAYNE is FINALLY LIVE! Shout out to all of the amazing people who helped on this project and brought this idea to life from some highdeas in a Google doc to a finished product on the screen. To my creative partner Shane, I love you brother. I wouldn't want to make weird shit with anyone else but you! Russell, our shooter and editor. This project wouldn't have looked half as sick without your beautiful mind on it. To the producers and crew like Harshit, Luke, Edgar, Travis and Kait, thank you for showing up 100% and making sure this shit even saw the light of day! To the extras that came through to film a weird superhero orgy party scene without even question, you are the best! And finally, to the man behind the mask, Vu! You've become like a brother to me, dude! I love you so much and I'm so happy we finally get to share what we created with the world. Without further ado, BRUCE WAYNE by VU is OUT! Link in bio or at bit.ly/vubrucewayne!
