Love Tonik’24

Like Adam and Eve
I found my missing rib

God made this flesh
Followed with a breath from his lip

If our love is a disease then it would be chronic
And if we needed a medication,
It would be LOVETONIk

“The four walls of an institution is no respecter of my craft and creative inspiration”. Pages of uncertainty
Here i am with my head buried in graves of formulas and equations
And my hands so sore from drawing life’s plan with the tracing inks of precision
My shoulders bearing the weights of knowledge so old, scripted before my creation
And my feet’s journeyed lecture domes unknown to me desert miles i have toiled with exhaustion
Sleepless nights as tho nightmares had just to ace the big man called examination

The untold battles fought by serpents in my belly because of hunger and starvation
The unsaid terrorist attacks on my health, i sought reprise from the doctor’s medication
All for the glory of academic perfection
With the clock ticking, tired,i am running out of TIME an inverse of FREQUENCY
The PRESSURE of societies availability of the white-collar,its FORCE on the AREA of my decency
I have been told ,books are the only way to a life of extravagancy
I would be denied gold ,if i don’t get the A’s of perfection you see

But i stand tall and bold, backed up by creativities ambition
Knowing that my journey won’t end on the path of doubt and indecision
I am not to be defined by the status quo of educational prosperity
I have a lot more to offer with my minds potentials and creativity,
But time keeps running faster than speed
So little of it to accomplish the things i need
So i ponder on these thoughts,
Can i kill time without wounding eternity?
Or am i doomed to wonder in the pages of uncertainty?
