A reintroduction to Imogen Eve Photography After six years in business and 300+ weddings photographed, a clearer brand focus felt long overdue. @mogencreative has helped me to zone in on my brand identity, to help me find my people. It can be hard to put creative work into words when every wedding feels so different. I don’t feel the need to pigeonhole myself too tightly anymore, but at the heart of my work is a blend of candid, documentary photography and modern portraiture, influenced by the quieter luxury side of editorial fashion. (Forgive me, I didn’t run this by the well-known ai tool). What does that really mean? - ⁠I don’t interrupt natural moments, but I will guide you into the good light. - I won’t force false narratives or ask you to perform, but I will gently direct when it helps create something artful. - I’ll spend most of the day moving quietly through the room, capturing the atmosphere, the energy and the people you love. - And I’ll never overlook the fashion, the details, the spaces and the choices that make your day feel like yours. I LOVE love film photography. I think it has more feeling and meaning and slows you down. I would spend all my time outdoors if I could - with animals, waterfalls, skiing, anywhere with a view. But I also love old buildings and interiors. Anything with a story. I love people who challenge the norm. If tradition feels right, beautiful. If it doesn’t, do it your way. I’m here for it all. I want this space to feel welcoming, inclusive and representative and I know I can always work harder to show that. So if you’ve ever wondered whether you’d feel safe, seen or celebrated here, please come and find me. You are so welcome. My gift to Imogen & V. The entire story of their day told on a single roll of medium format film. The first time I'd taken this beautiful 50 year old camera to a wedding. I planned out 12 frames and noted them down, ticking them off as I went, ensuring every milestone moment was documented. I promised myself I would share every one, in order, whether successful or not. Turns out I love them all. The result of generous artistic freedom, permission to experiment and the loving patience, time and space to observe and create intentionally. Especially humbling when that wholehearted trust is from such talented fellow creatives.
