OUR CH’ILLIWACK. August reminded us why this place is unforgettable - the heart of our community, the spark of creativity, and the simple joy of a summer harvest. 🌽✨ You made your way through Chilliwack’s Circle Farm Tour, felt the buzz of Downtown and District 1881, and stood in awe of the Great Outside. 🌲⛰️🌊 Luckily, you had your cameras - a month like that deserved to be remembered! Now, as Summer gives way to Fall, a new season of colour, adventure, and connection is waiting. 🍁🍃🍂 Share your stories with us - tag @tourismchilliwack and use #ShareChilliwack to be part of our next monthly album! Dozens of ripe nectarines fill open cartons at an outdoor market in bright sunlight. 4. A silver car is parked beside a colourful mural of giant book spines on a bookstore wall. 5. A bird glides through an orange sky with dark, jagged cliffs in the background. 6. A person in a light blue dress leans toward a stroller on a brick-lined shopping path with flowers and hanging lights. 7. Two kayakers paddle a calm, green river; one kayak reads “Chilliwack,” with forest lining the shore. 8. A dog stands on a large rock, overlooking snowy mountains and a deep blue lake far below. 9. A smiling person in a cowboy hat and boots sits on a bench outside a small, rustic store. 10. Three kids peek through cutouts in a painted corn cob display at a farm-themed play area. 11. A wide river winds past trees and gravel bars at sunset, with a soft pink and blue sky behind a forested mountain.

“What goes through your mind before hitting the trails, heading out on a road trip, exploring BC’s pristine lakes, or reaching a mountain summit?” 🧠💪 Your first LINE OF DEFENCE is your MINDSET. Many train their bodies for outdoor adventures, but how often do you train your mind? Mental preparation is just as important as physical strength. Before you head out, ask yourself: ➡️ Do I know my limits — and will I stick to them? ➡️ Am I confident enough to turn back if things change? ➡️ Do I run through survival scenarios and picture (➕plan) a positive outcome every time? ➡️ Do I maintain a survivor mindset, no matter what? Without mental strength, even the best training and gear can fall short. Train your mind like you train your body. Stay sharp, stay safe, and always adventure smart. #BCAdventureSmart #Mindset #MentalPreparation #TrailSmarts #SurvivorMindset #OutdoorSafety #MindOverMountain #ExploreBCSafely #YourDestinationIsHome 🏠 🎥 @mohammad.musaei Taken with 𝗗𝗝𝗜 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗣𝗿𝗼 𝟰

Even small steps, like reducing plastic consumption, can make a difference. 🌎💚 Use the hashtag #60SecOfNature in your photos for a chance to be featured in one of our next posts! ⏰🏞️ This week’s images are by 📷: 1. @justsayantan (📍 Twillingate, Newfoundland and Labrador) 2. @mohammad.musaei (📍 Golden Ears Provincial Park, British Columbia) 3. @felixdesrosiersphoto (📍 Parc national de la Gaspésie, Quebec) 4. @jeromewinterphoto (📍 Emerald Lake, Yukon) 5. @tamjaeger (📍 Kamloops, British Columbia) 6. @jakesescapes (📍 Nova Scotia) 7. @chrisnoronhaphoto (📍 Rouge National Urban Park, Ontario) 8. @jojifujii (📍 Harrison Lake, British Columbia) 9. @where.is.cp (📍 Prince Edward Island) . . . #CanEnvironment #CanadianWildLife #nature #ProtectNature #CanadianNature #Canada #environment #EnviroWeek #wildlife #plants #BeatPlasticPollution An orange sunset settling over water as icebergs float next to big rocks.
